24 Hours is a mechanical board game for two players in which two teams from 1888 and 2088 travel to each other’s spacetime and obtain the resources they desire.
Players will play Team 2088 or Team 1888, go through the gate of time, and get the resources they need in the opponent’s spacetime:
Team 2088 will return to the power plant 200 years ago to occupy energy;
Team 1888 will go to the laboratory 200 years later to occupy technology.
The actions that the player can take and the direction of the Time Gate will change with time. And only in the correct direction can the player pass through the Time Gate. Besides, the mechanical watch can only work for 24 hours. After 24 hours (= 24 turns), the characters and resources in the entire team will automatically return to their original spacetime.
This game requires players to observe the status of the upper and lower game boards at the same time, read the opponent’s action purpose, and decide how to move their character pieces. At the end of the game, the team with more opponent‘s resources wins.
Time-traveling Mechanism
Each player can borrow resources from the future each round. In subsequent rounds, players need to use a unique shuttle to return to the past to repay the debt owed in the previous round. Otherwise the accumulation in the spacetime paradox will ultimately lead to anachrony, and players need to pay dearly for that.
Exquisite Model
The model is very similar to the real ancient city of Santorini.
High Playability
As each player has different abilities, this game can be played over and over again according to permutations and combinations.
